Hi, I am Mariam Bayrak.

I am a bursa based photographer and founder of Angels photography living and working in Turkey.  I am a studio and on-location portrait photographer specializing in newborn,baby, maternity and family portraiture.

My daughter as a newborn inspired me to specialize in newborn portraiture because I loved to capture those special first days of life. I believe that my passion to newborn photography helps me to create beautiful images that will be cherished forever.

As a mom myself, I know how fast these days fly. Don’t let this time slip away without capturing it.

How I work

I aim to steer away from the usual hackneyed photography while capturing the magic and uniqueness of peoples`s lives. I photograph my clients in the studio, location or in the comfort of their home and my approach is spontaneous and relaxed. I work with available or light strobe light and ensure a non invasive low key process.

The session usually starts with an informal chat. Everything is open to discussion (shoot ideas, poses, styling, etc..) in order to offer unique images. The session is completely bespoke and there can be as many outfit changes and family members included as you wish. I can mix family portrait with individual portrait if that is what you need, so please don't hesitate to ask. After the session, an edit of 20 to 25 retouched ready to print images will be uploaded to a private online portfolio within two weeks of the session.

When to book a pregnancy and newborn

Although you can book a session when you feel is the right time, I find that the best time to do pregnancy portraits is around the 26th to 36th week of pregnancy. For newborn photography, I recommend having a session in the first 10 days. It may seem early but babies start loosing their flexibility and gain a lot of energy from 10 days onward.
